Eligibility criteria of NEET PG, MD MS admission in India

Candidate is eligible to take admission if He or She holds MBBS degree or a provincial Pass Certificate provided by a medical college or an institute which is further recognized by NMC Act 2019 or Medical Council of India & repealed Indian Medical Council Act 1956 & possessing permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by NMC /the east while Medical Council of India. Candidates looking for MD MS admission have to pass NEET PG Entrance Examination conducted by NBE.

Candidates possessing provincial or permanent registration certificate by MCI or having equivalent education qualification certificate issued by state or Medical council of India are eligible. Additionally interested candidates are also required to complete one year internship or likely to complete before 30th June are eligible for MD MS admission.

NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2021 - AIQ 50% seats

• According to NEET PG eligibility criteria for MD MS admission through AIQ 50% seats stated that students belonging to Jammu & Kashmir are not falling under this category until the approval of Government.
• Only those candidates are eligible for AIQ 50% who have been selected by the Government of India, under reserved seats to pursue MBBS education in medical colleges of Jammu & Kashmir.

NEET PG Eligibility Criteria - Foreign Nationals

Overseas citizen or foreign nationals to have temporary registration with NMC is not mandatory at the time of writing NEET-PG. Foreign National can write NEET PG without registration with NMC / MCI. The NMC may, on payment of the prescribed fee for registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the post graduate course limited to the medical college/institution to which he/she is admitted for the time being exclusively for pursuing postgraduate studies. Provide temporary registration to such foreign national shall be subject to the condition that such foreign national is duly registered with appropriate registering authority in his own country.

NEET PG Eligibility Criteria - Foreign Medical Graduates

Indian citizen or Overseas citizen of India who have obtained their primary medical qualification outside of India, should have qualify the Foreign Medical graduate Examination (Screening Test) as per screening regulation 2002. FMGE pass candidate should have been registered with the NMC/ erstwhile Medical Council Of India or state medical council and should have completed their internship or likely to their internship or likely to complete their internship on or before 30th June 2021.
